Little sister to the legendary West Mill, The River Mill is a pretty special space; industrial charm by the bucket load, stunning light courtesy of the vaulted glazed ceiling and quirky features at every turn - it is safe to say, I am a massive fan! So when Bryony from Bobbi Wren slide the gallery into our inbox, I couldn’t wait to sneak a peek and, reader, I was NOT disappointed! So with no further ado, let’s delve in…

SHOOT ORGANISER, BRYONY FROM BOBBI WREN EVENTS SAYS;

“A modern botanical boho aesthetic in this elegant Industrial venue, the ceremony aisle a bold impact with a natural earthy relaxed vibe. Cascading dusky dark green drapery over the high steel beams, boho jute rug aisle, wooden screen backdrop and huge towers of greenery, bamboo lanterns, setting the scene for our couple.

Turned around to a wedding breakfast and as contrast to the brick walls the table was layered with soft taupe cheesecloth, seagrass placemats, textured crockery, stoneware bud vases, tapered nude candles and oodles of glorious succulents on a bed of foliage, town edge paper stationery and two peacock chairs.”

The cake …

…took on the botanical feel with a detailed dark green base, modern acrylic tier and white top layer, foliage and set in front of a macrame piece on a draped table.

THE FITS…

Ultra-modern-day bride of the times wearing a gorgeous figure-hugging dress debuting sleeve tassels and an uber low back and the groom in a velvet green blazer, soft, dewy makeup and hair up with plait detail and diamond jewellery with green accents.

“This shoot was modern, fun, and showcased how diverse this venue is to hold a combined ceremony and wedding breakfast with a lovely lit outdoor area by the river and we all enjoyed a pizza delivery!”
